With the expansion of the number of languages supported by Internet Explorer 9 to no less than 93, Microsoft has also made available for download Language Packs designed to make it as easy as possible for users to run a variant of the browser tailored to their native tongue.Customers can head to the Microsoft Download Center and grab Internet Explorer 9 Language Packs for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 as well as Internet Explorer 9 Language Packs for Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008.
Select and check the language pack(s) that you want to install, then click on OK. (see screenshot below) NOTE: If the language packs are missing and not hidden, then resetting the Windows Update history will also restore the default language packs in Windows 7 Ultimate and Enterprise editions after you Check for updates next after resetting. The user interface of Windows 7 can be translated and converted to another language, with the use of a language pack, commonly known as MUI (Multilingual User Interface) or LIP (Language Interface Pack). With language pack, text in wizards, dialog boxes, menus, and other components in the Windows 7 UI can be converted into another display language from the default display language installed.
Both packages of IE9 languages are offered for download free of charge, as is the case for the browser.

At this point in time, IE9 offers the most comprehensive linguistic support out of any browser on the market.
Designed to play nice with 93 different languages, IE9 bested Firefox with support for 86 languages, Chrome 11 with 45, Opera 11 with 44, and Safari 5 with 16.
